Three pathways. One intention.
Everything offered at The Qi Way is rooted in the same belief: the body, mind, and spirit are not separate, and true healing happens when all three are heard.
What is Traditional Chinese Medicine?
Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the world's oldest healing systems—over 2,500 years old and still deeply relevant today. It works from a simple but profound premise: the body, mind, and spirit are not separate. When one is out of balance, all are affected.
Rather than chasing individual symptoms, TCM looks for the pattern underneath and works to restore the conditions in which your body can heal itself.
Your body is a whole
Every part of you—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual—is connected. Nothing works in isolation.
You are part of nature
The seasons, the time of day, where you live—all of it influences your health. TCM pays attention to all of it.
You were born to heal
Your body has a natural, innate capacity to restore itself. Sometimes it just needs the right conditions and support.
Prevention is medicine too
Your body is always communicating. TCM helps you learn to listen before things become harder to address.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine—ancient tools for restoring balance in the body.
TCM approaches your health as a living, interconnected system. Rather than targeting a single symptom, we look at the whole pattern, then use time-tested tools to help the body find its way back to balance.
Acupuncture
Fine needles placed at specific points along the body's energy pathways stimulate the body's natural healing response. Acupuncture may be used to support people experiencing pain, stress, hormonal concerns, sleep difficulties, digestive concerns, and more. Both classical and contemporary techniques are used, including the Balance Method.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Plant-based formulas drawn from thousands of years of clinical tradition and tailored to your body's specific patterns and needs. Herbs are selected to support the body's own processes and are often used alongside acupuncture as part of a more complete approach.
“Wherever you are is the right place to start. This is a space where your body and mind can finally exhale—where we listen, honour your courage in showing up, and find a way forward that's truly yours.” Lisa D. Theodore, R.TCMP
Energy Medicine
Medical Qi Gong, Reiki, and energy healing for deep restoration and nervous-system support.
Energy medicine works at a deeper, subtler level than physical treatment alone. It recognizes that the body can hold more than physical tension—and that creating space for what is stored emotionally and energetically may support a deeper sense of balance and restoration.
Medical Qi Gong
A therapeutic practice using breath, gentle movement, and intention to cultivate and restore the flow of Qi, or life energy, through the body. It may help calm the nervous system, build vitality, and support healing from the inside out. Sessions are often experienced as deeply settling.
Reiki & Energy Healing
Gentle, non-invasive energy work intended to support relaxation, balance, and restoration. These sessions may be helpful during periods of stress, emotional heaviness, or when the body needs support beyond the physical. No prior experience or particular belief is required—only an openness to the process.
The Inner Play
One-to-one guidance to help you unwind old patterns, trust your instincts, and find your own way forward.
Sometimes what needs attention isn't only in the body—it's in the stories we carry, the habits we've outgrown, or the inner voice we've stopped trusting. The Inner Work offers a safe, unhurried space to look at the beliefs and patterns that may be holding you back and to develop your own sense of intuition and self-knowing.
Drawing on TCM psychology, elemental wisdom, creativity, and deep listening, these sessions are as individual as the person in the room. Some people come with a clear question. Others arrive simply knowing that something needs to shift. Both are welcome.
